Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for your appointment. First time users should arrive 15 minutes early to make sure all necessary paperwork and instructions are completed.
Our wellness instructor will escort you to your private sauna suite and instruct you on how to use our sauna controls and elaborate tv system.
WHAT TO WEAR
Fitness clothing, bathing suit or light undergarments are a popular choice while in a session. However, many customers choose to wear just the provided towel.
We recommend wearing loose-fitting, comfortable clothing after your session as your body will continue to sweat up to 1 hour after your session is complete.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Drink plenty of water prior to your session as well as during your session.
Remove makeup to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the infrared heat.
DURING YOUR SESSION
Take care not to overheat during your first few sessions. As the body continues to adjust, body temperature regulation will become more effective. If sauna becomes too stuffy, you may open the door for a minute to let some fresh air inside.
You may not sweat much during your first 2-3 sauna sessions. This is normal for many people as it takes a few sessions to “retrain” the body to do what comes naturally.
Continue to drink plenty of water. We recommend at least 10-12 oz during a session.
While cell phones are allowed in sauna suites, Radiant Wellness Infrared Studios does not recommend their use due to high sauna temperature. If you choose to use, please keep wrapped in a towel so temperature doesn't rise as fast. A towel must be used on the seat and floor mat at all times.

Hand weights/exercise bands are available for use in all saunas at no charge.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
After your session is complete, please exit your sauna room immediately so we can clean/prepare for the next customer. Feel free to relax in our lobby area.
Place used towels in the "towel drop" provided at the end of the hallway.
A shower is available, however we recommend waiting at least 30 minutes as the body will continue to sweat and burn calories after your session is completed.
Remember, it is important to continue to drink water or recovery drinks after your session to stay hydrated.
